The following guidelines summarize the admission process for OOU 2025/2026. Candidates should read carefully and follow each step to complete the admission and registration process.

    Only applicants who participated in the Post-UTME screening exercise will be considered for admission.

    Candidates must log on to the Post-UTME portal to print their screening results; printing has commenced.

    Admission offers are processed through JAMB CAPS. Prospective candidates must regularly check JAMB CAPS and Accept any admission offer once it is available.

    Candidates who do not validate or accept admission via JAMB CAPS will not be able to print their JAMB admission letter.

    If an offer appears on JAMB CAPS but is not accepted by the candidate, the JAMB Admission Letter will not be issued and registration cannot proceed.

    Once admission is accepted on JAMB CAPS, candidates must print their JAMB Admission Letter, then visit the OOU Admission Portal to commence registration.

    Candidates offered a different programme from their original choice must first accept the PROGRAM/COURSE TRANSFER offer on JAMB CAPS. After accepting, complete the Change of Course within two weeks to enable printing of the JAMB Admission Letter.

Important: Always cross-check details on JAMB CAPS and the official OOU admission portal. Keep record of all printed documents and complete each step within the deadlines provided by the university.
